Asana 6 :

 

Padasanchalana

 

 

Starting position—Stand errect.

 

1.           Lift the right leg straight forwards without bending the knees till it is at right to the body.

2.           Move the right leg to starting position.

3.           Move the right leg straight backward ad much as possible.

4.           Move the right leg to the standing position..

5.           Move the right leg straight to the right side making right angle in line with waist.

6.           Move the right leg to the starting position.

7 to 12—Do these movements as above with the left leg.

  13.          Jumping put right leg forward an the left leg straight backward and

          stand erect.

14.       Jumping put the left leg straight forward and the right leg straight backward and stand erect.

15.       Jumping put the right leg straight on the right side and the left leg on left stand erect.

16.        Jump and come to the original position.

The above movements may be done four or five times each.

 

 

Benefits

 

Corrects the ailments of muscles of knees, lumber and legs. Develops the muscles of legs. Abdomen loses fabbiness and corrects constipation, involuntary ejaculation of semen.
