Tolangulasana
Starting position—Lie flat
on the back on a carpet.
1.
Get
into Padmasana by putting right foot on the left leg groin.
2.
Put
the left leg on the right leg groin, heels touching the abdomen to the complete
Padmasana position.
3.
Put
fists of both hands below the buttocks in the central position.
4.
Lift
the head and knees and bright them in straight line. Final position.
5.
Put
back knees and head on the ground.
6.
Remove
the hands to the normal position,
7.
Straighten
the left leg.
8.
Straighten
the right leg and get to the original position.
Practise this Asana, getting
into Padmasana pose by putting left foot on the groin of the right leg first.
Duration—3 minutes.
Benefits—
Removes constipation, as the
bowels get stretched. Intestinal gasses are passed out. Develops muscles and
corrects ailments of lumbar, spinal column throat, thighs calves, and wrists.
Corrects ailments of kidnerys. Helps in performing Nauli-kriya.
