Asana 4 :

 

Sarpasana

 

Starting position—The same as Shalabhasana.

 

1.       Keep palms of both hands on ground on both sides of stomach.

2.       Raising head and portion of body above the navel slowly. Final position.

3.       Bring down the head and put it on the ground.

4.       Get to the original position.

5.       Put palms of both the hands on the backside of the thighs.

6.       Raise head and portion of body above the navel slowly. Find position.

7.       Bring down the head slowly and put it on the ground.

8.       Get to the original position.

This Asana should be practiced for two minutes daily.

 

     Benefits

 

Corrects ailments of hands, chest, semen , spinal column, movements of bowels and liver, helps in correcting diabetes and diseases of womb, menstruation and vaginal dischange.
